February 2010 Workshops, Clinics, Seminars, Classes, Pet Clinics:
Now through February 25, 2010 • Photography Essentials Class • Tuesdays and Thursdays 10AM-Noon OR 7-9PM This will be an extremely informative class designed for the amateur photographer who wants a better understanding of their digital camera and photography in general with an emphasis on shooting in manual mode. Learn what all those buttons and dials on your digital camera do and how best to use them.
We will be discussing ISO’s, Apertures, Shutter Speeds, Color Balance, Lenses, all of the different camera modes and how and when to use each among other topics that relate to the camera itself. We will be going into detail when necessary and avoiding long boring technical explanations as much as possible. And we will be working hands on with our cameras in order to reinforce and ingrain everything that we’ve learned as well. Our goal is to have everyone who takes this class become completely comfortable using their camera at the end of the 4 weeks.
To get the most from this class you should have a digital camera that is capable of shooting in manual mode. If you’re unsure, check your owner’s manual to see if your camera is capable of shooting in manual mode, or drop by the studio with your camera and manual and we will be happy to take a look at it for you. • Fort Mill Photography, 406 Tom Hall St.,
