Giving, Caring, Sharing... Showing God's Love to Those in Need.

How Can You do Your Part to Help?

When we are young, we are taught by our parents, grandparents, teachers, and the church to share our toys, help our peers, and care for others. Have you ever seen young children instinctively hug another when they are hurt or sad? It is quite emotional when we can teach our children about compassion and then see it at work.

As we grow older, it seems as if those positive things we were taught, somehow disappear. We have become the "me" society. "What can this, that or they do for me?" When I talk to people, everyone, to a degree, would help others if they could. I believe we all can in some capacity. Some people are financially secure and could offer money as a resource. Some people could offer their time and energy behind the scenes while others may want to be a part of helping someone face to face. Whatever category you fall into, it is priceless to those in need.

As Christians, we are told to "become like little children". The bible says,

"... I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven."

(Matthew 18: 3-4)

What are your talents and how can you share them with others?
Below you will find many organizations, groups, and simple projects that would be grateful for your support.

Please consider going back to the “beginning” when hugging someone in need
was the norm.

"The King will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did
for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”
(Matthew 25:40)

May God bless you as you bless Him!
