Evan was born on Monday, September 14, 2009 as a full term, 6 lb. 1 oz baby. To our surprise, he was born with Dandy Walker Malformation of the brain and numerous health problems including digestive, and platelet function abnormalities. He was admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery at Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC shortly after birth and remains there at this time. Over the past sixteen weeks, Evan has had numerous tests, procedures, and surgeries and will likely require many more to address his airway difficulties before we can bring him home from the hospital. Please help by making a donation or attending the barbeque and silent auction or by making a donation at any branch of the Bank of York. Thank you.
