The "Newcomer's" class "Moving On After Moving In" is the place to be! This Christ-centered study will help you in the process of Letting Go, Starting Over, and Moving Ahead with your life after the transition of a move. It is the place to be for those who feel uprooted and disconnected.
Join them for this seven week study that will be held on Mondays starting February 6, 2012 until March 26, 2012. It is being held at the Fort Mill Library, second floor, 1818 2nd Baxter Crossing Fort Mill, SC 29708. Childcare is not provided.

March 23, 2012 • The 2012 Mayors' Cup • 1:30PM shotgun start • Tournament format is 4-person captain's choice using par as your partner. The cost to register is $95/golfer. Last year's tournament was an enormous success and we are expecting even better this year. We have many different prizes and give aways for folks participating. Immediately following the tournament (6 pm), we will be holding a Community Party in the Glennon Center. Everyone is invited to attend the party, not just tournament participants. If you participate in the tournament you will receive a complimentary ticket to the party. You can purchase one additional ticket for $20. If you aren't participating in the tournament, individual tickets are $25 or $40 for couples.

May 19, 2012 • Trial by Fire -- Journey Tribute • 7:30PM • The Arts Council of York County presents a Journey tribute with Trial By Fire - In 1996, superstar rock band Journey completed their 10th album “Trial By Fire” and prepared for a massive world tour, untilfrontman and legendary voice Steve Perry injured himself and the massive tour failed to happen. Trial by Fire, made up of 5 seasoned musicians, decided to re-create “the tour that never happened” and celebrate one of the most famous bands of all time. Audiences can sing along to the classics from the Steve Perry era, the height of Journey’s golden age.

October 6, 2012 • 6 Hour Grind on the "Greenway" • This is a 6 hour singletrack mountain bike race, with 805 ft of elevation per lap, that will challenge participants both physically and mentally. They are teaming up with several local entities, Humane Society of York County, Team Up for Type 1 and Girl Scouts Troop 648 to bring you one exciting event.

The event will be held at Anne Springs Close Greenway mountain bike trails. The start/finish location will be at the Field Trial Barn. The course distance will be roughly 9 miles of awesome singletrack with a elevation gain of 805 ft at the 2300 acre park.
